John,
We know you’re going to vote. And that’s great. But have you made your plan to vote? Being #VotePlanReady means you’ve decided the who, what, where, when and how of casting your vote. Now is the time to prepare! Take some time today to think about your plan to vote and get ready to put your plan in place between now and Election Day, November 3. Our Voter Hub has information you can use as you make your plan.
Interesting fact: people who make a plan to vote are actually more likely to vote. Election Day is 27 days away. NOW is the time to make YOUR plan. So don’t leave one of the most important parts of participating in democracy up to chance.
When making your plan, make sure you:
- Know how you’re voting - by mail or in-person;
- Decide what time you’re voting, if you’re voting in person;
- Know the address of your ballot drop-off location or polling place;
- Decide how you're going to get to your polling place;
- Research the candidates and issues on your ballot.
Our votes matter, and they can help determine the outcome of federal, state, and local elections. Put your plan in place between now and November 3 to ensure your votes reflect your values. Once you have your plan in place, encourage your family and friends to make their plans to vote.
Thanks,
Civic Engagement Team
