I'll be honest with you, folks -- it's been a tough day.

I just pulled our fundraising numbers and not only did we miss yesterday's fundraising goal, but we're on pace to miss today's too unless we see a surge in donations before midnight tonight.

I'm not going to panic, but I'm also not going to pretend this is fine -- in a race this close, everything we do matters.

With McConnell's super PAC spending $2 million this week alone attacking Steve Bullock and people already voting, any hit to our budget right now makes it very difficult to win this election.

We expect this election to come down to a handful of votes, so it all really matters. That's I'm asking:

If even a fraction of the folks reading this email chipped in just $10 or $25 today, we would have enough to get back on track. Can Steve and our campaign count on you to make a contribution of any amount?
