Despite being written-off and dismissed by much of the corporate media, a number of new polls released this weekend show a campaign positioned to win this thing...

Friends -

Good news: A number of polls released this weekend show Bernie with the highest favorable ratings of any candidate in this race. They also show our campaign just 2 points behind in New Hampshire, 3 points behind in Iowa, and in FIRST place in Nevada.

Bad news: As we climb in the polls, our average donation is slipping. For a long time it was $19. But this month, it’s down to just $15. And with our next FEC deadline coming up soon, that’s trouble.

So we have one of two ways to go: either we can aim for a lot more individual donations between now and the deadline, or hopefully some people can add a few dollars to their donations (only if you can afford it).

This is one of those moments in the campaign where it would mean A LOT for you to add your first online contribution. If we can get our donor numbers up before this debate and this FEC deadline, we would be in great shape to keep up the momentum. So what do you say?

Can Bernie count on you to make your first $2.70 contribution ahead of our next FEC fundraising deadline? This is such a critical moment for the campaign.

Our campaign is the ONLY campaign in this race exclusively funded by grassroots donations, and that is because of the response to emails like this one. So thank you in advance for making your first online contribution today. It means a lot.

All my best,

Faiz Shakir
Campaign Manager
