I’m coming to you with an ask: I’m humbly asking for $5 and your help to win my special election in just over 24 hours.

I’ve been running for 27 months. After my Republican opponents perpetrated a massive election fraud scheme in last November’s midterm election, we fought back and a re-do election was called. Our special election tomorrow is the people’s chance to get justice. It all comes down to tomorrow.

Since the start, I’ve been blown away by the support for my campaign here in North Carolina.

This is a district that’s been in Republican hands since 1963. It’s not supposed to be competitive for a Democrat. But with one day to go, we’re tied in the polls!

If we win tomorrow, it will send a shock wave across this land.

That’s why I’m taking these final hours so seriously. After all of their cheating, our very democracy is on the ballot.

But to win in North Carolina and across the country, I need everyone fighting alongside me. It’s the only way to keep fighting -- to protect and expand on our progress for years to come. Will you stand with me and Democrats like me? >> [link removed]

If we win tomorrow, it will send a message: to the corrupt Republicans who gerrymandered our district, who stole people’s ballots, who do the bidding of special interests that spend unlimited sums to rig our democracy. Democrats are NOT done fighting -- and last November was only the beginning.

I know we can do this, but it will take all of us pitching in before polls close in my race in 26 hours.

I’m asking you personally: Will you split $5 to win my special election and tough races like this?

Thank you,

Dan
