According to
news reports, President Donald Trump has told administration officials to stop
working with House Speaker Nancy Pelosi, D-Calif., on another potential coronavirus
relief package until after the election. Pelosi and Treasury Secretary Steven
Mnuchin have been in negotiations for several weeks but have been unable to reach an agreement.

CFPB
outlines process for early termination of consent orders
The CFPB has
issued a policy statement outlining the early termination process for entities
subject to a consent order, as well as the standards the bureau will use to evaluate
applications for early termination. Of note, this policy does not apply to individuals or settlement agreements.
