John,

Mayra Rodriguez watched 40 Days for Life grow from a fledgling movement to a powerhouse of prayer during her 17-year career at Planned Parenthood.

"I never knew what [40 Days for Life vigil participants] were doing...until I was the miracle of all those prayers," Mayra said.

As Mayra's eyes slowly opened to the truth about her longtime employer, she reported Planned Parenthood for a pattern of botched abortions, document falsification, failure to report sexual abuse of minors, and more.

She now credits 40 Days for Life volunteers for praying her out of the abortion industry...

...and she has a message for YOU in today's video blog:

Mayra's exodus from the abortion industry cost Planned Parenthood more than an employee. Mayra also won a massive whistleblower lawsuit after the abortion giant retaliated against her for exposing Planned Parenthood's corruption.

And it all started with YOUR prayers!

Plainfield, New Jersey

Two years ago, a woman passing by the Plainfield vigil stopped to talk with vigil participants. The pro-lifers on site spoke with her and gave her a brochure.

The encounter made quite the impression. Last week, the passerby returned to the vigil--this time because she and a friend signed up to pray.

"Not only did she join us; she has been teaching and preaching pro-life messages in her Plainfield church ever since she heard the message and received literature from a campaign member out praying that day," wrote Lisa, the local leader. "Never underestimate how the Lord will work!"

Fort Pierce, Florida

Jim and Monica made some new friends at the 40 Days for Life vigil. During their shift, some passersby asked about the campaign.

The vigil-site guests were hot and sweaty from the South Florida heat and humidity, so Jim and Monica offered them chairs.

"They enthusiastically stayed for over an hour, waving [40 Days for Life] signs and smiling at all passersby," Jim reported.

Now Cain talked with Abel his brother; and it came to pass, when they were in the field, that Cain rose up against Abel his brother and killed him. Then the Lord said to Cain, “Where is Abel your brother?” He said, “I do not know. Am I my brother’s keeper?” And He said, “What have you done? The voice of your brother’s blood cries out to me from the ground.”

—Genesis 4:8-10

Father, help us to embrace the fact that we are our “brother’s keeper.” When, due to selfish motives, we try to cast off this responsibility please call to us to account. We would be pleasing to you and to our “brother.” Through the help and grace of our Lord and Savior, Jesus Christ. Amen.
