Jack xxxxxx, September is Suicide Prevention Awareness Month, and we want to call attention to the Veterans’ suicide crisis.

For five years, Kim has worked with women Veterans to drastically decrease their suicide rate. But unfortunately, 22 vets still commit suicide each day -- there’s more work to do.

Here’s a video of Kim’s #22Challenge in honor of the 22 vets we lose to suicide every day. We encourage you to share this and participate by recording and posting your own #22Challenge video.

Kim’s #22Challenge

Want to do something to raise awareness about Veterans' suicide? Try these three meaningful actions this month:

  • Memorize and share the number for the National Suicide Prevention Lifeline -- a great resource that saves lives each and every day: 1-800-273-8255
  • Consider making a donation to Mission 22 -- an organization dedicated to supporting our Veterans: https://www.mission22.com
  • Become a member of Grace After Fire -- an organization dedicated to helping women Veterans: https://www.graceafterfire.org
