This is UNBELIEVABLE: President Trump just told the world he has decided to "stop negotiating until after the election" on coronavirus relief.

We can't let him play games while families are suffering and small businesses are struggling.

Bob and his Democratic colleagues have spent months offering plans to give additional support to Americans who are at risk of losing their homes, their jobs, their businesses, and their lives in the middle of this pandemic.

Republicans have rejected them all.

Now President Trump is outright sabotaging the process. After making families wait MONTHS for relief, he's asking them to sit on the sidelines again while he tries to rush his Supreme Court nominee through the Senate. A nominee, hand-picked by the Federalist Society and the Heritage Foundation, who would overturn the Affordable Care Act and end protections for those with preexisting conditions.

But Leader McConnell doesn't have to follow President Trump's lead. House Democrats have already passed a relief package. Senate Republicans should do the right thing and take the bill up immediately.

Don't let President Trump play political games with our lives. Tell Mitch McConnell to immediately bring the House coronavirus bill up for a vote.
