Dear friends,
Last week, the oldest living Nebraskan celebrated her 114th birthday.
Happy birthday, Thelma Sutcliffe!
Thelma is the 4th oldest living American and 11th oldest living person on the planet. She was born in Benson, now part of Omaha, worked for the U.S. War Department, and enjoys spending time with family and friends.
May we all live to be 114 years old.
Stories like Thelma’s are why I’m running for Congress. I believe that every single person deserves the opportunity to live a long, full, and happy life. That starts with making health care accessible and affordable to every American.
In my eight years as a Nebraska State Senator, I fought hard for affordable health care and prescription drugs. I voted to expand Medicaid and worked to lower the price of insulin. Now, in the light of the coronavirus pandemic, health care is more important than ever.
I promise, now and forever, to fight tooth and nail for the health of my constituents.
Unlike Big Pharma-funded Jeff Fortenberry, you can trust that I will prioritize affordable health care and prescription drugs from day one. I am ready to take on this fight in Washington. With less than one month until Election Day, will you chip in to help me get there?
I am your advocate in everything I do. That is a promise.
My best wishes to you, your family, and your community to stay safe and be well. Together,
Kate Bolz
