Just a few weeks ago, CNN reported that the president might be mounting “an electoral comeback,” citing the Cook Political Report’s reclassifying two swing states -- Nevada and Florida -- as leaning more toward Donald Trump.

We still firmly believe that Joe Biden and Kamala Harris will take back the White House in November, but the memories of 2016 -- and all the voters who abstained in that election -- are too fresh in our minds for us to become overconfident.
