Team – did you see what Trump tweeted today? 

Trump doesn't care about the 200,000+ American lives lost to COVID-19. He doesn't care about the small businesses that shut down and will never return. He doesn't care about the workers who have lost their jobs and are struggling to pay rent. He only cares about getting another justice onto the Supreme Court.

His actions (or inactions in this case) show exactly who he is. He watches as millions suffer and is now instructing his representatives to stop negotiating on the relief package that the American people desperately need because of his political agenda.

While Donald Trump sat on his hands, Yvette worked hard to make sure the CARES Act passed Congress and relief reached our Brooklyn families and small businesses. She worked even harder to make sure the HEROES Act passed – but this legislation is still sitting in Mitch McConnell’s legislative graveyard!

Why? Because Donald Trump and Mitch McConnell don’t care about the American people. They only care about rushing to confirm a Supreme Court justice who could dismantle the Affordable Care Act during a pandemic.
