John,
We all remember the feeling waking up after Election Day in 2016. The pit in our stomachs and the regret we felt, wishing we had done more.
We cannot afford to have that feeling of regret on November 4th. We can’t leave anything to chance. We need a huge, and powerful mobilization to help energize the nation and inspire millions to turn out to vote – and you can help make that happen.
We’re humbly asking you to step up again, John. Your presence matters now more than ever if we’re going to protect the court and defeat Trump.
Will you march in D.C. on Saturday, October 17 starting at 11am at Freedom Plaza?
We’re taking COVID-19 protocols very seriously. Everyone is required to wear a mask, practice social distancing, and not travel to DC from states that are on the self quarantine list. We will provide hand sanitizer stations throughout the march. If you are feeling ill, please join one of the virtual events instead.
This march isn’t like the others before, John. After a short rally and march, we’ll gather on the National Mall for a socially distant text-a-thon where we’ve set a goal to send 5 million text messages to get out the vote!
We’ll have a short training and support staff on hand so you can talk 1-1 with women voters across the country to make sure they have what they need to vote safely on or before Election Day.
Right before the final vote in the Senate on the nomination of Judge Amy Coney Barrett, we need huge numbers of people in the streets, demanding the change we so urgently need.
We saw the power we had together when millions of us joined in the streets the day after Trump’s inauguration. We need to bring that same power and determination to October 17 to cap off Trump’s presidency just the way it started — with massive, women-led resistance.
All of our rights are on the line, John.
Are you in? RSVP right now to let us know so we can plan for the march.
With resolve,
Women’s March Team
