Donald Trump is officially holding the American people and our livelihoods hostage — and he’s doing it because he cares about nobody but himself.
I’m serious — as the country is in the midst of the worst public health crisis in a century, he just informed Congress that he will no longer negotiate a critically needed stimulus package.

I’m sick to my stomach. The President of the United States just turned his back on families here in the South Bronx and across the country, and he did it without a second thought.
Mind you, this comes on the SAME DAY that the Fed Chair warned about the “national tragedy” we would face if we didn’t reverse course in our response to the crisis. Apparently, Donald Trump simply doesn’t care.
Millions are out of work and without health insurance during a pandemic. And if Donald Trump has his way, millions more will follow.
