WHAT'S HAPPENING
REPUBLICAN PARTY OF NEW MEXICO AND TRUMP VICTORY NEW MEXICO CONTINUE FULL SPEED AHEAD WITH CAMPAIGNS

We are committed to winning New Mexico for President Trump and electing Republicans down the ballot as President Trump fights COVID-19. President Trump remains in good spirits as Republicans move ahead to Election Day. Our ground game and digital efforts remain in full force and we are working every day to flip the Roundhouse and the state red. "COVID or no COVID, this is a crucial time in the state. This is a crucial time in our country. It doesn't change anything here for us. We're still focused on flipping New Mexico red," said RPNM Executive Director Anissa Tinnin. We will continue to pray for a swift recovery for President Trump and the First Lady. Next month, we are going to win and save New Mexico.

KEEP POLITICS CIVIL—LEAVE THE SIGNS ALONE
The past few weeks have been marred by a streak of vandalism and theft of Republican political signs across the state. Those on the left have taken it upon themselves to destroy Republican signs in an unprecedented series of politically motivated crimes. Theres no reason to destroy political signs and vandalize offices over political disagreements. New Mexicans need to come together and respect our state and our shared values. We need to lead by example for the future generations and return to a time of political civility. "Next time you see a political sign you disagree with and feel the urge to rip it down, just keep on driving and make it a reminder for you to work that much harder for the candidates you support," said RPNM Executive Director Anissa Tinnin.

DEMOCRATIC HOUSE DISTRICT 40 CANDIDATE MUST DROP OUT OF RACE AFTER ADMITTING TO PERFORMING IN GAY PORNOGRAPHIC FILMS

Democratic House District 40 Candidate Roger Montoya should drop out of his race after he admitted to performing in gay pornographic films during the 1980s. Montoya reportedly appeared to engage in unprotected sex in multiple gay films under the names Joe Savage or Eric Martinez. His actions do not align with our shared New Mexico values. “This irresponsible and reckless behavior of starring in gay porno films, whether it takes place now or years ago, is unbecoming of any candidate or elected official. If you’re a public servant, you must be held to the highest standards. New Mexico holds dear to its strong, traditional values, and Mr. Montoya should leave the race immediately,” said RPNM Chairman Steve Pearce.

DEMOCRATIC HOUSE DISTRICT 70 DOES NOT LIVE IN THE DISTRICT HE IS RUNNING IN, AMBROSE CASTELLANO

The Republican Party of New Mexico has learned through various documents in an ethics complaint filed with the state that New Mexico Democratic House District 70 candidate Ambrose Castellano doesn’t meet residency requirements. RPNM is asking the Secretary of State to remove him as a legitimate legislative candidate. The candidate actually lives 60 miles outside District 70 at a Santa Fe address. That’s where he spends most of his time, according to the complaint. Such a failure renders that Ambrose Castellano’s Declaration is invalid, and he should be disqualified as a legislative candidate. “Any candidate’s integrity must be of the highest caliber. To fail to tell the truth about one’s address is a shameful action and an insult to constituents. A candidate must play by the rules. A candidate must be honest and cannot stretch the rules or cheat in the election process," said RPNM Chairman Steve Pearce. Castellano is hardly fit to become a member of New Mexico’s legislature.
