Hi John,

We are now only 4 weeks away from election day, and we don’t have a moment to spare. It’s become a cliche to say “this is the most important election of our lifetime” every two or four years. But when it comes to the longevity and strength of our democracy, this is just such an election. Donald Trump is a threat to our liberty unlike any we’ve seen in recent decades, and we have to replace him this November.

This is a fight for the ideals, norms and institutions that underpin our great nation has been long, and it will continue no matter what November brings. But this election is a key milestone in our years long struggle for accountability, honesty, and integrity in our government. 

It’s been a privilege to stand alongside you in this fight. But we need your help to get across the finish line on November 3rd.

First and foremost, I’m asking you to vote. Do your civic duty, and enlist your friends and family to do the same. No matter who people might vote for, our democracy is stronger when more of us participate in it. 

Secondly, we need your help to push our target states over the goal line. We’ve built networks in Arizona and North Carolina who’ve been working for months to recruit more Republicans and independent voters who are willing to put country over party. We’ve had a lot of success, but now is the time to kick it into overdrive.

Every penny raised from this email will go directly to our NC and AZ campaigns. Both of these states are ripe to turn against Donald Trump, but only if we keep up the pressure.

John, four years ago this day seemed so far off. And the challenge in front of us seemed at times to be insurmountable. But we worked every single day to steer our country in a better direction. Our efforts brought us here, with a real chance to correct our course by putting country over party.

Let’s finish the job, and protect our country from the damage that Trump is inflicting on it daily.
