Friend, there are just weeks left in one of our generation’s most consequential elections -- and power-hungry politicians are still trying to make it harder to vote, especially by mail.
Did you see the news from Texas? Last week, the governor announced plans to remove dozens of absentee ballot drop-off sites -- limiting them to one per county, even in counties with millions of residents!
I’ve had enough of politicians trying to silence us. This is OUR democracy, and elected officials should do all they can to defend our sacred right to vote -- not take it away.
Sign the Petition: our right to vote by mail must be protected. The Senate must immediately fund election security and the USPS.
President Trump has led a months-long, baseless crusade against vote-by-mail. But Friend, the American people aren’t buying his lies.
We know that vote-by-mail is safe, secure, and accessible -- and that it should be available to eligible voters during this pandemic.
But Republican legislators in many states have refused to make absentee voting more accessible. Their restrictions could pose insurmountable barriers for voters -- especially Black voters and other voters of color.
Whether they want to vote early, by mail, or in-person on Election Day -- every voter should have options. And nobody should be disenfranchised by this pandemic.
