It’s past time for Congress to address the opioid epidemic.
68,000 people died last year from opioids. I’ve
met with families who have had loved ones die at the hands of
this epidemic — so this is personal for me.
That’s why earlier this year, I helped introduce
legislation that would combat the import of Fentanyl made in
China, which would save lives.
But that bill has yet to pass the House. How many more
lives will be lost before Congress takes action?
