Two years ago, we watched Brett Kavanaugh have a meltdown during his job interview — his hearing to be considered for a seat on the Supreme Court.

And then we watched as senators, too afraid to nay-say Donald Trump, Mitch McConnell, and their radical right-wing backers, lined up like good little sheep to rubber stamp the confirmation of a deeply partisan, temperamentally unfit, morally reprehensible judge to a lifetime appointment on our nation’s highest court.

Fast-forward and while some things look radically different, some things remain the same. Donald Trump has nominated yet another anti-choice ideologue to the Court. But this time, he’s hoping that the fact that she’s a woman makes voters believe she’s not an existential threat to reproductive freedom. We know better, John.
