Friends,

For over two decades the Arab American Institute has led #YallaVote, an integrated voter engagement program that works year-round to inform, register, and organize the nearly 3.7 million Arab Americans across the country.  This election season we have seen even more civic engagement from Arab Americans – an already politically active community.

In September, we were a Premier Partner of National Voter Registration Day, contributing to a record-breaking 1.5 million new voters registered. On October 1st, we launched 'October as Election Month,' encouraging Arab Americans to update their voter registration status, make a plan to vote, and vote early!

This week we are pleased to join the National Network of Arab American Communities in co-hosting the first ever National Arab American Voter Day on Thursday, October 8th.

An idea of Arab American Family Services in Chicago, this Thursday will be a single day dedicated to engaging the Arab American community in our nation's electoral processes. We ask you to engage online, over the phone, and in person. Below we have included some of our #YallaVote resources for you to use and share.

  1. Register to Vote with #YallaVote
  2. #YallaVote Fact Sheets by State
  3. Know Your Rights
  4. Yalla Vote Postcards for Letter Writing Campaigns
  5. Social Media Graphics – including Hotline Graphics
  6. #YallaVote Video

Don’t forget to use the hashtags #YallaVote #MyArabVote on Thursday!

To volunteer to call, text, or write postcards to fellow Arab American Voters, monitor election-related disinformation online, or staff our #YallaVote hotline please contact Karis Tschopp at [email protected]
