Nearly one week ago, we wrapped up our first full quarter of fundraising since we launched Truth to Power back in June.
Because of your support, our 24 Truth to Power-endorsed candidates will have incredibly strong momentum behind them as they head into their competitive elections. Your grassroots donations will bring these fighters to Washington—and they will help expand our majority in the House and flip the Senate.
Doing this work will mean that we’ll have more voices in Congress who will fight to protect Roe v. Wade and the Affordable Care Act, who will fight for a fairer tax system, and who will fight tooth and nail for working families, even when it means going up against the wishes of corporate super PACs.
But Election Day is just four weeks away, John—and many folks are already casting their ballots or making plans to vote. That’s why our work in bolstering our candidates’ campaigns now is so important.
So, for the next 28 days we need to do everything we can to ensure that all of our candidates get elected and join me in Washington. You’re an important member of this team, and I hope you’ll continue to join us in this fight.
