Hi John,

Tonight marks our fifth and final conversation in the Ms. Foundation for Women and Brooklyn Historical Society multi-part virtual series on our fight for equality. Since August, Women + Power has reflected on the triumphs and shortcomings of the passage of the 19th Amendment, with discussions on the relationship between gender, power, and the ongoing struggle for equality.

Our final conversation focuses on today’s social justice movements on Black lives and Indigenous sovereignty. Our featured speakers include Enei Begaye, executive director of Native Movement; Kandace Montgomery, executive director of Black Visions Collective; and Toni-Michelle Williams, executive director of Solutions Not Punishments Collaborative. This conversation will be moderated by Ms. Foundation Director of Communications Raquel Willis. Register here.
