The California Legislature is winding down for the end of session, but that just means they are amping up to plow through the hundreds of awful bills still waiting for a vote. Pushing the controversial stuff to the very end has always been a strategy of the Hefty Lefties because there is less time to debate before the deadline which means the bills get far less scrutiny. Tops on our bad boy list are AB 1669 (Bonta/Del Mar Gun Show), AB 879 (Gipson/precursor parts), SB 376 (Portantino/firearm transfers), AB 1297 (McCarty/CCW costs), and SB 61 (Portantino/one gun a month).
