We're less than a month away from the election and millions of Americans have already made their voices heard. This will be the biggest election of our lifetimes in so many ways. And STV is doing everything we can to make sure that every. single. vote. counts.

In 2016, 300,000 mail in ballots were discarded. During the 2020 primaries that number was over 500,000. We are seeing record numbers of mail in ballots this fall and we want to make sure that every ballot counts. Young voters in particular see their ballots thrown out at higher levels, 5x that of the general population. So, we launched readthefingdirections.com, a humorous, informative campaign providing the exact instructions for voting by mail in all 50 states plus DC. Please share, and let's make sure that every young person's ballot is counted.
We are already seeing hours long lines for early voting in some states and we know that the closer we get to election day, the longer those lines will get. So, we're helping folks stay in line by offering comfort at the polls - water, snacks, hand warmers, pizza, whatever it takes. Want to help in one of our twelve states ([link removed]) ? ** Big Stimulus News!

When the stimulus checks came out this summer, Spread The Vote was one of the first orgs to notice that incarcerated citizens were barred from receiving stimulus funds. But we have GREAT NEWS- as of last week that is no longer the case.
