For decades, the economy and national interests of many Middle Eastern countries has been driven by energy prospects. At times, energy ventures have been known to spark tension between countries in the regions, and at times serve as a catalyst for cooperation. With Russia and Turkey increasing their scope of activity in the region, in addition to the recent peace agreements between Israel and the two Gulf countries, we will be discussing with Amir Foster and Eitan Dangot the complexities and opportunities these developments have created. In our webinar, we will try to outline the strategic interests of the countries operating in the Middle East, and discuss how energy interests translate into geopolitical conflicts or cooperation.
