John xxxxxx, I've tried to be constructive. But Boris Johnson's speech today held no answers on how his government will get a grip of the current crisis.

They've thrown away millions from the public purse on unsuitable protection for key workers, unsafe antibody tests and a broken tracking and tracing system. Just when the country needs leadership, we get serial incompetence.

We have a chance now to rebuild after coronavirus, and I plan to take it by fighting to win. John xxxxxx - will you chip in to support our fight back?

Yes, I'll chip in ([link removed])

We have a Prime Minister so out of touch that he's struggling to explain the Covid restrictions in place to protect our communities. We have an underfunded NHS that entered this pandemic with huge holes in staffing, funding and with crumbling buildings and failing equipment.

And now we've just learned that almost 16,000 positive cases of coronavirus went unreported for a week. This isn't just a shambles, it's gross incompetence.

We need to start our election fund here and now, and we need to match the Tories penny for penny so we can take them on next May. Will you chip in today?

Yes, I'll chip in ([link removed])

With one of the highest death rates in the world and on the threshold of one of the deepest recessions, I'm afraid there is no doubt - this government's incompetence is holding Britain back.

Britain deserves better. We need to start preparing now so we can win for our communities in the crucial elections next May and rebuild our country.

Thank you,

Keir Starmer
