Absentee ballots began mailing last Friday, and have started arriving in mailboxes across Connecticut. If you requested an absentee ballot, check your mailbox this week for your ballot.

Once you receive your ballot, review it and carefully follow all instructions. Sign the inner envelope, seal your ballot and return it via the mail with the prepaid postage envelope or drop it off at an official ballot drop box in your town. Find your ballot drop box here.

If you're planning to go in-person to vote on Election Day, polls will still be safely open from 6 a.m. to 8 p.m. Find your polling location and plan ahead for what time of day you'll be voting.

The election isn't just 28 days away, it's over in 28 days. The election is happening right now as thousands of people across Connecticut and millions of people across the country cast their ballot early.

I'm on the ballot too this year, and I'm honored to be on the ballot with Joe Biden and Kamala Harris. We need your vote to win.

You cannot sit this one out. We need your voice. Make your plan to vote now. Forward this message to your friends and family members and talk to them about doing the same.

Thank you for your continued support,
Jim
