John, Voting is the foundation of our democracy. And electing political champions is critical to our work to protect kids from tobacco addiction. The election is four weeks from today. If you haven't already, it's important that you make a plan to vote ASAP. You can register to vote, check your voter registration status, and find what's on your local ballot at vote411.org. It's a nonprofit and non-partisan resource created by the League of Women Voters, and it makes the whole process quick and easy. |

Once you're registered and have a plan to vote, please do two things: - Learn where your candidates stand on tobacco issues. Look up their voting records and see: Do they want to protect Big Tobacco's profits, or do they want to protect kids?
- Pass this information along to your networks.
You have a powerful role to play in the electoral process. Make sure you and everyone you know are ready. Thanks for your advocacy, |
