Former First Lady Michelle Obama issued a passionate plea to voters: “If you think things cannot possibly get worse, trust me, they can; and they will if we don’t make a change in this election. If we have any hope of ending this chaos, we have got to vote for Joe Biden like our lives depend on it.”

But in 2016, 42% of eligible voters -- that’s nearly 100 million people -- stayed home and handed a misogynist four years in the White House. And now USA Today reports that recent polling shows Joe Biden’s leads in the key swing states of Florida, North Carolina, and Ohio are razor thin -- all less than 3 percent. And Biden is only holding Arizona by 3.6 percent.

We can’t afford to give Trump another four years to completely cement far-right control of the Supreme Court, deny access to affordable health care, and illegally expand executive power -- the damage will be irreversible.

Our country is at a turning point, and we need to work together to elect more Democrats in the House, take back the Senate, and vote Joe Biden and Kamala Harris into the White House -- leaders who will restore our values and work to improve the lives of every American, not just the privileged few.

With less than one month to go until the election, we need to make sure every single eligible voter turns in their ballot.
