John - we've got just 28 days until election day and our race is shaping out to be one of the most expensive governor's races in the country.

Here's what we're up against:

Dan Forest has the full backing of the Republican Governors Association -- they've singled our Roy as their top target and are willing to say, do, and spend whatever it takes to defeat us.

Dark-money groups are unleashing nearly 10 million dollars on a slew of divisive ads against us -- with more on the way -- in the final weeks of this race.

It's clear: The far-right is trying to buy this election for Dan Forest. With historic numbers of North Carolinians voting absentee right now, having the resources to fight back and reach undecided voters has never been more important.

We've seen our fundraising numbers slump since the start of October, and we're worried we won't be able to fully fund our paid media program and we risk ceding the airwaves to the far-right and their attack ads against Roy.

With less than a month to go, can you rush your first donation of $10 today to help us fight back against the far-right's spending machine? Every donation -- no matter the amount -- will make a big difference.

Thank you for being in this fight with us,

Cooper for North Carolina

We hope everyone is staying safe during this ongoing health emergency. The Cooper Campaign is now working remotely, and we encourage all those who are able to practice social distancing. We've taken the step of cancelling all in-person fundraising for the time being, making grassroots online outreach and fundraising even more critical than before. Roy and the rest of the team will keep working for a more prosperous, better-educated, and healthy North Carolina, and we hope you will stay with us in this fight. Further information on the Coronavirus and our response can be found at [link removed].
