Helping children when and where they need it most

If you have a child who is struggling with emotional or behavioral issues and medication is recommended, you can find yourself having to make decisions without enough information. That’s why we’ve created resources to help parents understand what role medication can play in treatment, whether your child has anxiety ([link removed]), ADHD ([link removed]), depression ([link removed]), autism ([link removed]) or something else.

This week on childmind.org ([link removed]) we’re rounding up advice on specific types of medication, as well as tips on how medication should be managed: making sure your child is getting the right dose ([link removed]), adding an additional medication ([link removed]), and taking children off medication safely ([link removed]). The more informed you are, the better equipped you’ll be to help make your child’s treatment effective.
