Did you know more than 200 million Americans are eligible to vote early this year?
When Americans vote early, we help keep ourselves and our loved ones safe, decrease lines on election day, and ensure that last-minute problems don’t keep us from casting our ballots.
But the rules - both for in-person and by-mail options - vary widely all over the country.
That’s why I'm teaming up with Vote Early Day to make sure you have everything you need to vote early this month, and to help you make a plan to get it done.
Voting early is a safe and convenient way to make sure your voice is heard during this election, and Vote Early Day is making it easier than ever to understand your options.
When your ballot arrives, read the directions carefully and fill it out as soon as you can.
You can turn in your ballot by dropping it in the mailbox or depending on the options in your state, you may return it at a designated dropbox, or in person at your local elections office.
The vote early engine will walk you through all the steps to make sure your ballot is counted.
