Should Money Fund Families? A Look at Legislation & Lawsuits

COVID, CARES, GEERS. With all of the funding made available by the Federal government for schools and families to overcome challenges raised by COVID, should there really be any question for whom the money was meant? Yet, in different states there are bills, debates and even lawsuits to stop money from funding families. A panel of government officials along with leaders of critical parent communities of color will gather to resolve the challenges faced across the country.
