We’ve celebrated many legal milestones for the LGBTQ+ community over the past few years. But I’ve warned time and time again that the fight for equal protection under the law is far from over.

And now today — on day one of the first Supreme Court term since Justice Ruth Bader Ginsburg’s passing — far-right Supreme Court justices have called for an end to marriage equality.

2. Protect essential civil liberties like marriage equality and women’s reproductive rights.
3. Pass laws to protect civil rights, so we aren’t relying on Mitch McConnell’s stolen Supreme Court majority for our freedoms.
