Friend, we've seen the horrific news stories
and reports coming out of the migrant detention facilities at the
border.

It's unacceptable that the Trump administration has denied
detained children basic hygiene items like toothbrushes, soap,
and towels -- for days on end. This cruel treatment must stop.

Let's send a message to the Trump administration. Add your
name to stand with us and demand an end to family separation and
the inhumane treatment of children.

Close the Detention Centers
( [link removed] )

My colleagues and I have called for an investigation of the
company that runs the Homestead detention center for migrant
children here in Florida. We've also called for its closure after
seeing of the center's heartbreaking, prison-like conditions that
hundreds of children endure there every day -- and it's all
happening while Congress is denied basic, unfettered oversight of
this facility in violation of the law. But we can't stop there.

We must fight back against the Trump administration's cruel
and inhumane treatment of children at detention centers along the
border. It's our duty to make our voices heard now.

Children belong with their families, not in detention
centers. Add your name right away and tell the Trump
administration to close the facilities!
