GLAAD releases new poll about LGBTQ voters

To combat misinformation in the media surrounding the LGBTQ vote this election, GLAAD commissioned a Pathfinder poll that finds 76% percent of likely LGBTQ voters favor former VP Joe Biden over President Donald Trump. The poll also found that 92% of likely LGBTQ voters were definitely voting in this election.

GLAAD’s State of LGBTQ Voters poll featured on ‘Saturday Night Live’

In a moment of heightened visibility, GLAAD’s  State of LGBTQ Voters poll was featured on the season 46 premiere of Saturday Night Live. The survey, which found 76% of liely LGBTQ voters would vote for Joe Biden, was part of the sketch show’s recurring Weekend Update segment.

GLAAD provides helpful tips for those #VotingWhileTrans

It’s important now more than ever that transgender voices are heard, epecially in the upcoming election. Anti-transgender sentiment has been rising and inspiring various laws designed to target, control, and punish transgender individuals for being out. GLAAD compiled a list of things to keep in mind for those #VotingWhileTrans.

GLAAD Campus Ambassador highlights the importance of passing the Equality Act

GLAAD Campus Ambassador Ty Gamble-Eddington wrote about the history of the Equality Act and where we go from here. Ty also took over GLAAD’s weekly AmpU chat on Twitter, which reached more than 100,000 people, to discuss the Equality Act.

GLAAD promotes Joe Mantello’s Netflix film ‘The Boys In The Band’

Ahead of its Netflix release, GLAAD’s Head of Talent Anthony Ramos sat down with director Joe Mantello and the cast members of The Boys In The Band. In four separate interviews, Anthony chatted with Jim Parsons, Brian Hutchison, Michael Benjamin Washington, Matt Bomer, Tuc Watkins, Robin de Jesus, Zachary Quinto and Charlie Carver.
