Since we first scheduled this event, Justice Ginsberg has passed away, Breonna Taylor failed to receive due justice, the President’s tax returns became public, he turned a presidential debate into a national humiliation, and became hospitalized due to COVID-19.

Each passing day towards the election becomes more urgent, more necessary for us to come together and act.

You may have heard from my friend Andrew Yang that we’re hosting an event with him along with our mutual friend Kumail Nanjiani. I am more eager than ever for this conversation with them, and all of you, as we come together to not just dream of a better future but discuss real steps we can all take to bring that vision to reality.
