Did you see what Sen. Cornyn said about the Affordable Care Act and protecting people with pre-existing conditions, everyone?

He thinks that gutting the Affordable Care Act is fine, even though millions of people with pre-existing conditions receive coverage through it.

And just hours after this tweet, he voted in favor of overturning the ACA again.

Health care is deadly serious for millions of Texans, but Sen. Cornyn has voted REPEATEDLY to rip it away. He voted not to stop a lawsuit that seeks to overturn the Affordable Care Act -- in the midst of the deadliest pandemic in generations.

Here's the deal, y'all. There are at least 4.8 million people with pre-existing conditions in Texas, and now, anyone who's had COVID-19 will have a pre-existing condition as well. The Affordable Care Act protects ALL of us by ensuring that insurance companies can't charge us more for having a pre-existing condition.

Sen. Cornyn has been on the government payroll for nearly forty years. Between his benefits and three taxpayer-funded pensions, he just doesn't understand just how vital the ACA is for millions of us.
