John,

Voting starts TODAY -- and Randy Feenstra still won't debate me. He hasn't even been to most counties in the 4th district.

Let's be clear: this campaign is a job interview to prove who will serve the people of Iowa's 4th district best. If you can't be bothered to show up to a debate, you shouldn't get the job. If you won't hold public events where people can ask you tough questions, you shouldn't get the job.

A representative must always show up. It's how you listen to, understand, and help the people. Over the past few months, I've showed up everywhere. In fact, tomorrow we wrap up the Every Town Tour, going to all 374 towns across Iowa's 4th district.

During this tour alone, we've held 16 parking lot rallies open to everyone. It doesn't matter where you are on the political spectrum, you can ask a question and I'll answer it. We've toured grain elevators, toured small businesses, had conversations on farms, talked with teachers and students...name a group and we've probably talked with them.

This is important: we made a conscious decision to run an open, people-powered campaign that brings in everyone. Why? Because we want to know what's really happening on the ground across this district and we want to get to work for YOU on Day 1 in Congress.

If I sat at home and made phone calls all day, I wouldn't be doing my job. If I only talked with folks who already agree with me, I wouldn't be doing my job. The bottom line is that our campaign is about you, not me.

That's why I need our entire team with us. Can you chip in $5 or whatever you can to help us? >> [link removed]

One thing I've learned from meeting our neighbors is that people need a government that looks out for them. Our district still hasn't bounced back from the 2008 economic crisis, and this pandemic has only worsened pre existing issues. Now more than ever, we need a representative who understands the struggles of everyday people and is someone we all can count on.

Feenstra doesn't know what our neighbors throughout IA-04 need, because he doesn't show up. He can't be bothered to debate me and defend his positions. How are we supposed to count on him to show up for us in Congress?

Short answer: we can't.

But I will always show up. With only 29 days left until Election Day, I need your help so that I can serve you in Congress. Chip in $5 or whatever you can to help >> [link removed]

Standing Tall for All,

J.D.
