Three Steps to Being a Better Voter Protection Advocate in Your State

Just because you’re staying in, and times are tough, doesn't mean your GOTV efforts should stop! So, stay safe and take these steps to engage:

1. Learn: Looking for ways to volunteer to support voters who are at risk of being disenfranchised this November? Check out opportunities with 866-OUR-VOTE and find out how you can (safely) get paid to be a poll worker in your state.
2. Watch: Watch Rigged: The Voter Suppression Playbook online or on a streaming service like Amazon Instant video and be sure to check out the June PFLAG Academy On-Demand session PFLAG Votes 2020: Our Right and Our Responsibility.
3. Share: Use emails, texts, and social media to share this brief PSA from 866-OUR-Vote and this video from PFLAG every day the polls are open in your state.

We all know how important the November election is. But did you that some voter registration deadlines have already passed? Confirm your voter registration NOW!

Today, Monday, October 5 is the deadline in Arizona, Arkansas, Florida, Georgia, Hawaii, Indiana, Kentucky, Louisiana, Mississippi, Ohio, South Carolina, Tennessee, and Texas. By Friday, the deadline in 10 additional states will have come and gone. The time is now. Register to vote TODAY.
