We did it, Friend!

Many months ago, we started a campaign to make the Green Party the most diverse, the most democratic and the most daring force in Canadian politics.

Today, with your help, we have taken the first step towards that dream!

Thank you to all the members of my team for your tireless work. Thank you to all of you who have supported me, with your donations, time, votes and kind words. Thank you to the Green Party and the dedicated staff. Thank you to the other candidates for their hard-fought campaigns.

Our journey has just begun. As members, we all know we are better off in Canada when there are more Green Party members representing us. I pledge to be our strong voice and to carry that message to Canada and work to get more Greens elected.

If we want different outcomes, then we need to make different choices. That begins in our choice of political leadership. And it starts right here and right now. I am running in the by-election in Toronto Centre.

I call upon every single person in Canada who believes that we all deserve real representation. Join us as we fight to win the Toronto Centre seat and give them real representation.
