In just a few hours, I’m debating my far-right, Trump-loving opponent who has raised millions by attacking me with false smears and lies.

Let me remind you who is challenging me for my seat representing California’s 28th district in Congress:

He said “God was smiling” the day Donald Trump was elected president.

He held a maskless, indoor debate watch party — just last week.

He pushes far-right conspiracy theories, calls the Trump impeachment a “witch hunt” and “hoax,” and even blames me directly — not Trump or this administration — for the deaths of 210,000 Americans as a result of the COVID-19 pandemic.

He regularly goes on Fox News and OANN (the network for people who think Fox News is too tough on Trump) to push divisive rhetoric and dangerous lies.

And he’s running against me to stop my efforts to defend our democracy, hold this president accountable, and most importantly, make progress for my constituents.

My opponent has raised almost $3 million, is spending it on TV, radio and online ads, bought his own radio show (two of them!), and even put ridiculous billboards up — all of them attacking me.

It’s time we put an end to this and show my extreme opponent that the people of this community, California, and this country don’t want another Trump sycophant in Congress.
