National Prescription Drug
Take Back Day Is October 24
National Prescription Drug Take Back Day is just around the corner. To help you serve your community, we're giving away some educational materials from our new Prescription Drugs and You campaign.

While supplies last and until Friday, October 9th, you can request one or two packs of the Prescription Drugs and You fact cards.

The Prescription Drugs and You fact cards raise awareness about the importance of prescription drug safety. They remind community members of the importance of knowing what’s in your medicine cabinet, securing medicines away from children and pets, and disposing of old or expired medicines. They’re an effective handout for reminding people of the key messages of your prescription drug safety campaign. Each pack includes the same facts but four different graphics provide differentiation for your initiative. They make a great companion piece for any local prescription drug take back initiative.
How to Get Your Samples
If you want to receive one or two packs of these fact cards, please email [email protected] with your request, address, and contact information no later than Friday, October 9th. We'll then mail you the fact cards.

After National Prescription Drug Take Back Day, we'll ask those who used our fact cards to take a short survey about their experience with the product, how many they distributed, and more.

Prescription Drugs and You is a public health awareness campaign that emphasizes our collective responsibility to safely use, secure, and dispose of prescription drugs. The campaign gives leaders like you the resources you need to raise awareness about the risks of prescription drug misuse and to educate your community about safe prescription drug practices. You can learn more about the campaign on our website.
