I'll be direct, team:
I’m being absolutely PUMMELED on the airwaves by Trump-aligned groups spending more than $6 million against me. To put that in perspective, this week alone we’re getting hit with $1.4 million in attack ads. We have to push back, but we’re falling well short of our end-of-week goal and need to raise $9,879 by 11:59 PM to stay on track. Will you rush in an urgent $3 to help us counter the flood of outside spending, turn out more Democrats, and finally flip this North Texas seat from red to blue?
I’m not afraid of breaking barriers. I'm not afraid of going up against seemingly insurmountable odds -- because right now our country's very survival depends on it. I'm in this race because the opportunities that helped me go from being homeless as a kid sleeping in a kiddie pool outside of a gas station -- to the first in my family to graduate college and the first woman of color on my school board -- are under attack. Trump’s super PAC won’t take me down. I REFUSE to allow that to happen. But if these attacks go unanswered, our chances of flipping this seat drop significantly. Which is why today’s request is so important: Can you rush $3 before 11:59 PM so we can meet our fundraising goal for this week? Flipping this seat depends on hitting this mark.
