Thanks to the generosity of Changemakers like you—and the generosity of two matching donors—we raised more than $45,000 in honor of World Farm Animals Day. These funds will help give billions of animals a better life by supporting campaigns to end the worst forms of animal suffering on factory farms and in slaughterhouses.

As we head into the final months of 2020, we aren’t slowing down. In fact it's quite the opposite. The Humane League is continuing to pressure the chicken industry to end the cruel process of live-shackle slaughter, the single greatest cause of animal suffering in slaughterhouses today.

We’re also continuing to urge major brands to adopt the Better Chicken Commitment (BCC) and will soon be launching two new big campaigns against restaurants and retailers, in partnership with dozens of Open Wing Alliance member groups.
