Friend, Republicans are supporting a lawsuit that would end the Affordable Care Act and its protections for our family, friends, and neighbors with pre-existing conditions. That’s why I took decisive action with my colleagues to pass the Protecting Americans with Pre-existing Conditions Act of 2019, which is designed to preserve protections for those with pre-existing conditions no matter what happens with the Republican-led lawsuit. However, Senate Majority Leader Mitch McConnell continues to block this bill. Take action: Demand Mitch McConnell stop standing in the way of protecting the health care coverage of millions of Americans with pre-existing conditions. This assault on our health care system highlights how important the 2020 elections are to so many families. Nobody should be punished because they are or have been sick. That’s why we must come together as Democrats and stand up for our neighbors. Join me in demanding that Mitch McConnell stop blocking legislation to protect Americans with pre-existing conditions!
