The Dependable Employment and Living Improvements for Veterans’ Economic Recovery Act is comprehensive legislation that will strengthen and expand services for homeless and unemployed veterans who have been particularly affected by the COVID pandemic. I am hopeful that the Senate will pass this legislation and that it will reach the President’s desk by the end of the year.

As the grandson of a World War II veteran, I’m very proud of the work we’re doing in Congress to support our heroes. In my first term, I’ve helped to introduce 20 bipartisan bills for our veterans, with 12 passing the House. Four have already been signed into law.

With just under a month to go before Election Day, I’m truly grateful for your continued support as we continue to make great progress on these issues and many more.
