Almost two years ago, nearly 700 of us gathered in Kingston, New York for a get-out-the-vote rally with former Vice President Joe Biden.
The task at the rally was to prove what's possible when people join together and organize to meet hate with love. To prove no amount of special interest money could overcome the impassioned effort thousands of you put forth with your labor and volunteerism.
When we left that rally, we put in the work -- and together, we showed that a truly grassroots campaign can connect with voters from all walks of life and win.
Now, in the face of increased hate, divisiveness and ugliness, we need to do it again.
