John:
A global pandemic has already taken the lives of over 200,000 people living in America...and there’s no end in sight. Combine the fear of contracting this highly infectious virus with outright voter confusion and suppression, and you have the perfect cocktail for low voter engagement, particularly in Black, brown and low-income communities.

But we will not be deterred.

For generations, domestic workers, Black women, and women of color have fought for the right to vote. This election, we must carry that legacy forward. Request your absentee ballot TODAY to ensure your voice is heard.

Despite all the misinformation flying around, absentee voting, or voting by mail, is a completely safe and secure option for casting your ballot . And in the middle of a pandemic that’s still raging and disproportionately affecting domestic workers, Black women, and women of color, it’s also the safest option.

Our votes matter, and they can help determine the outcome of federal, state, and local elections. And everyone should be able to have a say on who represents them -- from the president and senators, on down to representatives at the local level -- without putting their health and safety on the line. Absentee voting keeps us all safe while allowing us to exercise our right to vote.

2020 has been a year of unprecedented turmoil: from the pandemic, to police brutality and uprisings to fight racism, to the real-life implications of climate change. It’s going to take a lot of work to address these issues and move our country forward in a positive way. Voting is one tool we can all use to realize the change we want to see. Request your absentee ballot today .
