Dear John,
At Farm Sanctuary, we promise a lifetime of love and care to every rescued animal—and we couldn’t do it without caring friends like you. Recently, we invited you to help us fund 300,000 nourishing meals for our Sanctuary residents. While our 2020 Giving Day was last Friday, we're currently tallying up the results—which means there's still time to add your gift on behalf of the friends you love at Farm Sanctuary!
With your help, we can nurse ailing animals like George back to health. When we rescued four-month-old George, the malnourished pig weighed just seven pounds: the equivalent of a days-old piglet. His former “owner” had left him to die—but at Farm Sanctuary, he made a full recovery. Now, George receives the care and nourishing food he needs to grow up big and strong.
Your support can also help us tailor these meals based on the animals’ specific needs. Marlene sheep turns 16 this year—and she and the others in our special needs flock get a supplemental mash: a soft, watered-down pellet meal that helps maintain their weight and nutrient intake. With your next gift, we can continue to help this elderly crew keep the quality of life they know at Farm Sanctuary.
Thanks to our generous donors, we can stock up on everything we need to feed our animals throughout the winter—and to avoid potential shortages or delays due to the ongoing COVID-19 pandemic. Together, we can ensure the animals stay safe and well-fed, no matter what comes our way.
Yours for farm animals,
