John,

Ted Cruz tried to mock Democrats’ concern over the GOP’s Supreme Court power grab during a hearing on Capitol Hill. But he was met with stark opposition from Democratic Senator Amy Klobuchar, who quickly dismissed him: “No, Senator Cruz, this isn’t theater. This is about people’s lives -- their health care, their rights, and their future.”

For weeks, the Republican party has made increasingly brazen attempts to undermine our democracy by ramming through a Supreme Court nomination before the election. The Trump Supreme Court nominee in question, Amy Coney Barrett, is a staunch anti-choice conservative who has worked to promote a “distinctly Christian worldview in every area of law,” as the Washington Post reports.

Republicans’ actions are directly threatening our reproductive rights, access to health care, and personal liberties -- all while mocking Americans’ growing concern for our democracy.

We’ve had enough. We’re ready to elect progressive women up and down the ballot in November who are ready to take back the Senate, expand our House majority, and work with Kamala Harris when she’s in the White House. But the GOP is working overtime to try and stop us from rolling back their dangerous policies.

That’s why -- with less than a month to go until Election Day -- we’re asking you to chip in with whatever you can to help us raise another $2,147 by MIDNIGHT. We’re going to provide a critical funding boost for women candidates across the country as they work to engage voters and combat GOP attacks on the campaign trail, but we can’t do this work without you.

Senator Klobuchar herself asserted that “the people of this country are fighting back because they know what’s on the line,” and today we’re hoping you'll form part of this fight. Will you contribute $5, $10, $25, or whatever you can today to help us engage voters and elect a record-breaking number of women on Election Day? >> [link removed]
